For the past three years, I have watched so many of your journeys from newly engaged to blushing bride to settled newlywed. Your weddings have inspired me – in their creative and personal touches (Kevin + Kelly), meaningful ceremonies (Barry + Casey), laidback simplicity and authentic love (Carter + Stephanie), and ridiculously fun parties (Eric + Tara). For the past several months, the incredible couples I meet through my job have been a huge inspiration as I have planned my wedding with my fiance, Luke. I am so thankful for your emails of congratulation, meetings that turn into sharing wedding planning stories over Starbucks, and a deeper understanding of what y’all are feeling now that I am there too!
It is a huge honor to be able to share in so many of your journeys as you enter your special day – it is hard to believe that mine is so close! Tomorrow marks one week from my wedding, so please forgive me if emails aren’t answered as quickly as usual or my phone is turned off during my honeymoon! Lindsey will be checking all of the Motion Picture Co emails while I’m away, so don’t hesitate to share what is going on in your wedding journey! I’m excited to watch all of you get married this summer, and photograph it to boot!
