Barry + Casey | married

Barry + Casey were our last wedding of 2011! It was a beautiful day – crisp and cool and sunny, as all early winter days should be. Their whirlwind romance led up to a wedding full of love, sincerity, and lots of hugs. Although Casey doesn’t have a lot of spare time – she is a full-time grad student and also works – she poured tons of creativity into the day, from the cute wedding day movie poster in front of the ceremony to yarn balloons at the reception (which are pretty much my favorite things and will be making an appearance at MY wedding!).

Eric + Tara | post-session

In between Eric + Tara’s engagement session in the heart of Chattanooga, wedding ceremony on the roof of the Hunter Museum, reception where they served mini-burgers and strawberry milkshake shooters to keep our energy (read: dancing!) up, and now their post-session at the Hunter – I feel like I know them really well!

Even if you don’t know Eric + Tara, it is impossible to miss the ease of their relationship and how much understanding they have for one another. Yes, they’re married – but they’re also best buds, and super-fun to hang out with! We met up on a chilly morning at the Hunter to share some time together and photograph Eric + Tara in their wedding garb all over again!

Kevin + Kelly | married

From getting to know Kevin + Kelly at their colorful engagement shoot to many emails exchanged with Kelly, we knew their wedding was going to be a BIG. DEAL. From the gorgeous location (Tennessee River Place) to the literally dozens of homemade details Kelly (an art teacher) worked on for months, the wedding did not disappoint. And we came prepared to document such an extravaganza!

We had John (camera and blurry head below), myself (taking pictures while also getting in John’s shots is a specialty of mine), and Elizabeth (you can see her getting her bride on here!). We were quite the crew!

Kevin works in a more technical field than Kelly, and they compliment and balance each other in more ways than one! It was such an honor to see them get married, and to be able to photograph them to boot! Kevin + Kelly, we hope you love your pictures as much as we loved taking them! Congratulations!

Cady + Kyle | engaged

Cady + Kyle are actually two of Bamber Photography‘s extremely fortunate clients! While they’ll be having their “official” engagement session with John next spring, Cady wanted to do a quick mini-session this autumn… right around the time John + Lindsey Bamber were welcoming Baby Lola into the world! So, I was sent to meet Cady + Kyle and spend some time getting to know them (and, of course, photographing them!).

These two have been together for quite a while and are so sweet to one another! You know right away that they are not only in love, but also share a deep understanding. They’ll be getting married next July – fortunately inside!

Alice + Chuck | engaged

Alice + Chuck have had a whirlwind romance, and they’re making it official next summer! Alice teaches elementary school and Chuck works in the finance world. Their sweet give-and-take romance was evident during our couple hours together, exploring downtown Chattanooga and then heading up the mountain.

We’re so excited to be invited into your lives, Alice + Chuck! See you soon!

Jordan + Kelsey | engaged

Jordan + Kelsey met at Yellowstone several years ago while they were both working in the kitchen! Now they have settled in Chattanooga (both working in a non-food related field) and have a wedding planned for the spring. While Jordan works in advertising, Kelsey is a full-time yoga instructor. (Unfortunately, we didn’t have time for her to teach me some sweet poses… maybe next time!) The three of us, plus a furry friend named Crockett, traipsed around Chattanooga together capturing some images of the sweet and familiar love Jordan + Kelsey share.

Krystall + Alex | engaged

I took the most beautiful autumn day we’ve had yet and drove long and winding roads to Wolf Mountain Vineyards in Dahlonega, Georgia to meet up with Krystall + Alex! (It is worth noting that Alex researched and found Wolf Mountain for this session all by himself! Handy guy.)

Krystall + Alex met working in the financial world of Atlanta, and are currently planning their wedding for next October! It was so fun to take a little roadtrip to meet them (and Krystall’s sister, Kayla) and bask in the beauty of the season. So looking forward to when the colors are just this vibrant again… around the time Krystall + Alex get married next year! Good timing, you two!

Eric + Tara | married

Eric + Tara are the kind of people you don’t want to just be your clients, you want to be your friends! John + I had a blast photographing their engagement session several months ago, and PJ + I teamed up to photograph their wedding! (They also have a fabulous post-session coming up, so get ready for lots of Eric + Tara on the blog!)

Tara had a crazy few months leading up to her wedding – not only was she doing all the planning, she was also finishing up her doctorate! Fortunately, Soirees was there to help her every step of the way. The ceremony and reception was held at the always-amazing Hunter Museum of Art - can never get enough of that place! Events with Taste served up a delicious meal – including mini-burgers and strawberry milkshake shots later in the evening! Tara’s incredibly unique dress was from Monica’s, I honestly have never seen one like it.

Daniel + Katy | married

Daniel + Katy were married on the perfect autumn day at Katy’s grandfather’s farm. It was a day full of gorgeous flowers, a close family, and love love love! It was definitely a family affair and from the moment we arrived there seemed to be dozens of “worker bees” getting the property ready for the beautiful event!

Katy’s unique gown was found at White Lace & Promises in Knoxville, Chattanooga’s own Bud’s Sports Bar brought in some fantastic food, and Soundforce kept us warm by giving us tunes to dance to all night long!

Erin + Andrew | engaged

John & I had a BLAST photographing Erin + Andrew! They are so in love, so genuine, and have great senses of humor… so we pretty much loved them right away. (They are also ridiculously photogenic!) Erin is a teacher in Chattanooga while Andrew is a businessman in Atlanta… but come June, they won’t have two-three hours between them anymore! We’re pretty happy about that (but not as happy as they are!).
